Open Call: Hey, My Name Is Land-Art Residency in Dnipro

Artsvit Gallery has initiated an open call for the residency titled "Hey, My Name Is Land-Art," which focuses on the interplay between art and the environment. This program invites artists interested in stepping outside traditional institutional frameworks to engage with both natural and urban settings. Participants will delve into the history and theory surrounding land art, environmental art, and site-specific practices, emphasizing Ukrainian environmental art and local land art communities. The residency will occur from July 27 to August 23, 2026, in three phases: an on-site program in Dnipro (July 27 – August 9), online project development (August 10–20), and a concluding presentation in Dnipro (August 21–23). Mentors include Natalia Lisova and Svitlana Koshelieva. Eight artists will be chosen, prioritizing six from Dnipro and two from other Ukrainian cities. Participants will benefit from a two-week program, mentorship, a production budget, an artist fee, public presentation opportunities, and travel/accommodation for those from outside Dnipro. Applications must be submitted by July 15 via a Google Form, with results announced on July 20. Design by Olena Misiura.
