Ogden Museum of Southern Art Presents Exhibition Featuring Three Abstract Artists

The Ogden Museum of Southern Art has organized an exhibition titled 'Vicinal Visions: Dusti Bongé, Ida Kohlmeyer & Dorothy Hood,' showcasing works from its permanent collection. The show will run from March 21 to July 19, 2026, highlighting three artists who pushed the limits of abstract art in the American South. Alongside the display, the museum plans to offer public events and special merchandise. According to Bradley Sumrall, Curator of the Collection, this presentation reexamines regional art history by focusing on the artists' experimental approaches and Modernist influences, shaped by their personal backgrounds and environments.
