Oasis's 1995 album (What's The Story) Morning Glory? has surpassed The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band to become the third best-selling album in UK history, according to the Official Charts Company. The album, featuring hits like Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger, has accumulated 6.2 million chart units. The all-time list, released on the 70th anniversary of the weekly UK album chart, sees Queen's Greatest Hits remain at number one, followed by Abba Gold. Adele's 21 moved to fourth, while Sgt. Pepper dropped to fifth. Interest in Oasis surged due to their 2025 reunion tour, which heavily featured tracks from the album. The Official Charts Company's interim co-managing directors Becca Monahan and Chris Austin praised the album's enduring influence. Separately, Olivia Rodrigo's Sour tops the most-streamed albums of the 2020s list, ahead of Taylor Swift's Folklore and Sabrina Carpenter's Short N' Sweet.
