Norm Yakaduna Stewart Announced as 2026 Kaiela Arts Editions Artist
Kaiela Arts, situated on Yorta Yorta Country in Shepparton, Victoria, has selected Norm Yakaduna Stewart, a Kwat Kwat artist, for its 2026 Kaiela Arts Editions. This initiative, in collaboration with Melbourne's Spacecraft studio, seeks to enhance both creative and commercial avenues for First Nations artists. Following the successful debut of the 2025 edition featuring Maree Clarke, the upcoming release will include 40 hand-printed pieces on archival paper alongside 10 silkscreen prints on glass. The public unveiling is set for 26 November 2026 at Kaiela Arts in Shepparton and 5 December 2026 at Spacecraft in Melbourne, with the artworks available for viewing starting 26 November.
