norda 055: the trail shoe that rewrites the rules

Montreal-based trail running brand norda, founded in 2020, launches the 055, a shoe designed for all terrains and distances. The 055 features a higher stack, structured collar, and reinforced heel, developed over two years to combine stability and speed. Its upper uses bio-circular Dyneema®, 15 times stronger than steel by weight, and it is the first norda shoe with a knit collar and tongue to prevent debris. The midsole is 100% Arnitel® TPEE with over 75% energy return, maintaining performance in extreme temperatures. The outsole, co-developed with Vibram®, uses Megagrip Elite® and Litebase® technologies, reducing plate weight by 30%. Co-founder Nick Martire stated, "Every shoe is a specific tool for a specific purpose." The 055 was tested by the norda Trail Team during the 2026 season, including Rachel Entrekin's record at the Cocodona 250. The Strato colorway will be available in presale for newsletter subscribers starting July 8 on norda's website.
