exhibition · 2026-04-15

On April 17, 2026, ISHO Office 1 will unveil two solo exhibitions featuring Nona Inescu and Oláh Gyárfás, focusing on themes of body, matter, and imagination. Inescu, born in 1991, integrates elements of human anatomy with geological and botanical aspects, utilizing materials such as dried plants, latex, and glass to investigate delicate ecologies and plant mutations. Gyárfás, born in 1975, constructs anthropomorphic sculptures from textiles and wood, drawing inspiration from mythology and shared imagination. The exhibitions will be on display from April 17 to June 6, 2026, open Thursday to Saturday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. An opening reception is scheduled for April 17 at 6:00 PM, followed by a discussion on April 18 at 5:00 PM with Inescu, Gyárfás, and curators, led by Dana Diminescu.
