Noemi Iten Develops Strategic Frameworks for Major Fashion-Art Exhibitions by Prada and Miu Miu
Noemi Iten, a strategist specializing in conceptual frameworks at the intersection of luxury fashion and art, recently led two significant exhibition projects. For Miu Miu, she directed strategy and editorial development for '30 Blizzards,' a site-responsive performance by Helen Marten commissioned for Art Basel Paris 2025. The five-part work was staged at the Palais d'Iéna, integrating the venue's architecture into its spatial logic. Collaborators included theater director Fabio Cherstich, sound artist Beatrice Dillon, and animator Adam Sinclair. The performance featured thirty performers on sculptural platforms with accompanying videos, exploring life stages from childhood to loss. Iten translated Marten's complex visual language into a cohesive narrative framework, producing an exhibition guide conceived as a literary artifact. For Prada, Iten conceptualized and structured 'Pradasphere II,' the brand's first major exhibition in ten years, presented at the START Museum on Shanghai's Huangpu River. The exhibition, designed by Jean Nouvel, traced 110 years of Prada's history through over 400 artifacts across fashion, art, architecture, culture, and sport. Structured around a warehouse typology, it used accumulation as a spatial and conceptual device, with rooms branching from a central path to create archival proximities. Iten developed the concept in collaboration with Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, working with design teams at 2×4 and Prada. She conducted archival research to select and sequence artifacts, authored all editorial content including wall texts and a monograph, and articulated Prada's tensions between luxury and industriality. The exhibition attracted over 50,000 visitors in five weeks and received extensive international media coverage. Iten's approach focuses on understanding brand identity before developing communication strategies, positioning her as a key strategic voice in fashion-cultural intersections.
