Nick Boeder Releases "In This Dream," a Decade-Old Bedroom Recording Completed at The Blasting Room
Nick Boeder wrote "In This Dream" back in 2010 while living in Chicago, but he didn’t record it until nearly a decade later. The song came to him after he returned to his hometown from five years in Taos, New Mexico, and it dives into themes like memory, family, and the struggles of the past, while also suggesting healing. He recorded it in one day at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado, collaborating with producer Chris Beeble and artists like Sarah Joelle and Shane Zweygardt. After moving to Colorado in 2019, he found the right studio and partnered with Rexius Records. Boeder picked up guitar at 25, after years in drawing and college football, while working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He’s now also pursuing a doctorate in performance psychology and wants to connect his music with film.
