New York Summer 2026: 10 Must-See Exhibitions from Duchamp to Tarot
For the summer of 2026, Beaux Arts magazine has organized ten exhibitions across New York. The Metropolitan Museum of Art features 'Orientalism: Between Fact and Fantasy,' which will be on display until February 28, 2027. At the Museum of Modern Art, visitors can explore Marcel Duchamp's first U.S. retrospective in over five decades from April 12 to August 22, 2026, alongside 'Frida and Diego: The Last Dream' until September 12, 2026. The Morgan Library & Museum showcases 'Hujar: Contact' (until October 25, 2026) and 'Tarot! Renaissance Symbols, Modern Visions' (until October 4, 2026). The International Center of Photography will host 'Yves Saint Laurent and Photography' from June 11 to September 28, 2026. The Jewish Museum will present 'Paul Klee: Other Possible Worlds' from March 20 to July 26, 2026. Additionally, Céleste Boursier-Mougenot's 'clinamen (v. 11)' will be at Park Avenue Armory from June 10 to August 9, 2026. Tanya Bonakdar Gallery will feature Mark Manders from April 30 to July 31, 2026, while Powerhouse Arts will debut 'The Ark' from June 11 to August 30, 2026.
