New Museum Expands with Transparent Addition and Notable Art Market Events

The New Museum in New York City has unveiled a new transparent extension designed by OMA / Shohei Shigematsu and Rem Koolhaas, opening on March 21. This addition doubles the exhibition space of the SANAA-designed main building on the Bowery and features a new atrium with a staircase, along with an enlarged Sky Room offering city views. The inaugural exhibition is titled 'New Humans: Memories of the Future.'
