New Museum and Hyundai Motor Launch Translocal Partnership with Ulsan Art Museum
The New Museum has revealed a long-term collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company, part of the Hyundai Translocal Series, which promotes partnerships between Korean art institutions and international cultural entities. This initiative will kick off in September 2026 with a new commission from Singaporean artist Ho Tzu Nyen (b. 1976), showcased concurrently at both the New Museum in New York and the Ulsan Art Museum in South Korea. At the New Museum, Ho's video installation will be displayed in the glass-front elevators designed during the recent expansion by OMA. This partnership enhances the New Museum's legacy of global exchange, aiming to bridge the cultural and environmental connections between New York and Ulsan.
