New Minimalist Hotel Opens Near Joshua Tree National Park

Reset Hotel has debuted in Twentynine Palms, California, as the first new hotel construction in the Joshua Tree area in over 15 years. Designed by local firm Gry Space and co-founder Benjamin Uyeda, the property features 65 minimalist rooms with private patios on 180 acres of desert terrain adjacent to Joshua Tree National Park. The design emphasizes a soft brutalism aesthetic using materials like steel and concrete to blend with the landscape, and includes amenities such as a saltwater pool, wellness facilities, and curated art. The hotel aims to offer a restorative escape focused on nature and relaxation, with access to nearby trails, local shops, and dining options.
