New Civic Hub spazioBACCA Opens in Milan's Brera District Focusing on Environment and Art
A new civic center called spazioBACCA has launched in Milan's Brera neighborhood, situated within the Giardino Pippa Bacca public garden. The initiative, which began operations on the first day of spring, is managed by ECCO Think Tank italiano per il clima and Green City Italia. This community space aims to foster dialogue and education on biodiversity, climate issues, and cultural engagement through workshops, meetings, and collaborative projects. It will work closely with the nearby Casa degli Artisti to develop art-nature programs. The project transforms former greenhouses into a hub for ecological awareness and social interaction, supported by Milan's municipal government and various organizations including WWF and Fondazione Veronesi.
