New book links Elon Musk's rockets to fascism via Henry Ford and Hitler

A new book draws a direct line from Henry Ford's assembly line production and high wages, through Adolf Hitler's autobahn construction, to Elon Musk's space rockets, arguing that this trajectory leads to fascism. The book, reviewed in Der Freitag, examines how Ford's model of mass production and high wages strengthened the nuclear family and was politically complemented by the welfare state and social partnership, which in fascist states became corporatism. The review suggests Musk's ventures follow a similar pattern of technological and economic control.
