Neuer Berliner Kunstverein Reconstructs Postwar 'Kollektivplan' for 80th Anniversary

The Neuer Berliner Kunstverein (n.b.k.) celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Kollektivplan from 1946 with the exhibition titled 'Berlin plant. Stunde Null', scheduled from June 6 to August 2, 2026. This exhibition reimagines the groundbreaking urban development strategy conceived by City Architect Hans Scharoun and his team, which emphasized innovative ecological and participatory construction methods. Visitors can experience a 1:4 scale walk-through reconstruction, view previously unpublished original designs, and engage in a discourse program that includes a symposium and a series of 'rubble films' at Babylon, highlighting the plan's lasting impact and the intricate legacy of Germany's Stunde Null (Zero Hour). Additionally, a collaborative project is showcased in the n.b.k. Showroom.
