Netflix's 'Die Falle' Premieres October 13 with Friederike Becht and Isabel Kleefeld
On October 13, Netflix will debut the psychological thriller series Die Falle, inspired by Melanie Raabe's novel. The plot centers on Lisa Konrad, a bestselling author who has remained confined to her home since her sister's murder a decade ago. When she believes she recognizes the killer on TV, she arranges an interview to ensnare him into admitting his crime. Lisa is portrayed by Friederike Becht, while Isabel Kleefeld serves as both writer and director. In a conversation with Yasmina Zemzemi from SLEEK magazine, they explored themes of truth and perception. Kleefeld highlighted the significance of understanding another's mindset, and Becht characterized Lisa as a courageous figure facing her fears. Jan Philipzen handles the photography, with Jule Nötzel overseeing creative production.
