Netanyahu claims Lebanese Christian villages seek Israeli annexation

Speaking on Fox News' The Sunday Briefing, he mentioned that these villages want to be annexed because "we protect them against Hezbollah fanatics who want to kill them." He also pointed out that Israel supports Christians worldwide. However, this claim was challenged by Hanna al-Amil, the mayor of Rmeish, a Christian village, as reported by the Lebanese broadcaster NNA. The tension escalated on March 2 when Hezbollah fired rockets at Israel, which led to Israeli airstrikes and a ground invasion in southern Lebanon.
