Nature-Themed Street Art Installations Appear Across New York City Neighborhoods

Several street artists have created new public artworks with natural themes in various New York City locations. Italian muralist Fabio Petani produced a piece titled "Botanical Plus" in Hell's Kitchen using an environmentally friendly paint called Airlite, in partnership with the nonprofit YOURBAN 2030. Other artists contributing to this wave of nature-inspired murals include BC NBA at Boone Avenue Walls in the Bronx, Ysabel Abreu and Jose Baez in East Harlem with Uptown Grand Central, Chris "DAZE" Ellis near the Graffiti Hall of Fame, Airis and Mia at Boone Avenue Walls, and Kingbee in the Bronx. These works highlight the ongoing integration of ecological themes and community engagement within urban art practices.
