National Science and Media Museum Hires New Collections Care Assistant

The National Science and Media Museum has appointed Ben as a Collections Care Assistant within its Conservation and Collections Care team. He started in November 2025, having previously worked as a Visitor Experience Assistant at the same institution since February 2025. Ben holds a History of Art degree from the University of York. His responsibilities include routine gallery inspections and object cleaning in the Sound and Vision and Kodak Gallery spaces, managing pest control documentation, and assisting with collection safety during building renovations. He also received training in object handling and collections management software.
