MVRDV Unveils WOMA Mixed-Use Development in Miami's Wynwood Norte
MVRDV has revealed its design for WOMA, a mixed-use project situated in Wynwood Norte, Miami, developed in partnership with Uribe Schwarzkopf and architect Kobi Karp. This initiative will transform a former coffee roastery into a space that includes 163 residences, offices, coworking areas, retail outlets, and cultural venues. The building's facades are adorned with textile-inspired designs and a color scheme that pays homage to the local fashion and art scene. A central plaza will host community events, while loft-style units cater to artists. The residential offerings will range from micro-studios to three-bedroom apartments, featuring amenities such as a rooftop pool and pet park. In other news, Steven Holl Architects will be renovating Ida Noyes Hall at the University of Chicago, and Powerhouse Parramatta is set to open on November 7, 2026.
