Munson launches $9.5M capital campaign for museum renovations

Munson has initiated its inaugural capital campaign, titled Munson For All, aiming to raise $9.5 million. This initiative will support significant renovations to the Museum of Art building from 1960 and enhance programming in its three sectors: Museum of Art, School of Art, and Performing Arts. Engaging over 100,000 individuals each year within the Central New York community, planned upgrades feature a refreshed Art Odyssey interactive gallery, a new Museum Cafe, and an expanded Museum Shop. According to President and CEO Anna D’Ambrosio, the campaign aims to create cutting-edge facilities, enhance the visitor experience, and aid in the revitalization of downtown Utica.
