Munich Residency Opens to South American Artists for 2027
AIR-M Ebenböckhaus, in collaboration with Salta art and the ERA Foundation, invites applications for a residency aimed at two contemporary visual artists from South America. Scheduled from July 7 to September 29, 2027, participants will reside and create at Ebenböckhaus in Munich, Germany. This initiative, which expanded to South America in 2022 through a partnership with the City of Munich's Department of Arts and Culture, will again offer an additional residency position, made possible by the ERA Foundation. A South American curator will also participate, fostering collaboration. Residents will enjoy a shared, rent-free apartment, individual rooms, and access to studio spaces, alongside mentorship from a Munich curator and a research trip. Applications must be submitted by November 15, 2026, at midnight CET via saltaart.org.
