Moss Country House by Pasparakis Friel in Donegal

Pasparakis Friel has completed the Moss Country House in County Donegal, Ireland, a 130 m² renovation and extension of a former farmstead. The project, curated by Nina Vuga and led by architects Sosie Pasparakis and Ronan Friel, transforms a traditional farmhouse flanked by a stable and outbuildings into a contemporary home. The design retains the original layout where humans and livestock shared the south-facing courtyard as the primary outdoor space. Contracted by Patsy Harkin, the project used materials from Deignan Design, Friary Timber Products, Velfac, and dqsurfacedesigns. Photographs by Peter Molloy document the 2025 completion.
