Mosaic Rooms Reopens with Bouchra Khalili's UK Solo Exhibition
The Mosaic Rooms gallery in London reopened in February after a year of renovations, launching with Bouchra Khalili's first UK solo public exhibition titled 'Circles and Storytellers.' The French-Moroccan artist presents works exploring the history of the Mouvement des Travailleurs Arabes, a 1970s French organization of North African immigrant workers, through mixed-media installation and film. The exhibition examines storytelling, performance, and concepts of citizenship, featuring collaborations with non-professional participants. Palestinian artist Dima Srouji also contributed a permanent stained-glass installation. The show runs until June 14.
