Moritz de Hadeln, Former Venice Film Festival Director, Dies

Moritz de Hadeln, a significant figure in the realm of international film festivals, has passed away. He served as the Artistic Director for the Venice International Film Festival in 2002 and 2003. Originally from England, he grew up in Italy and Switzerland. He established the Nyon Documentary Festival, managed the Locarno Festival, and oversaw the Berlin Festival for more than two decades, in addition to directing the Montreal World Film Festival.
