MJZ and Łoskiewicz Studio Design Net-Zero Office Transformation on Warsaw's Vistula Riverfront

Architecture firms MJZ and Łoskiewicz Studio have developed a proposal to convert an existing office building along Warsaw's Vistula River into a net-zero landmark workplace called ReVistula for developer Syrena Real Estate. The project employs circular design principles, reusing materials from the original facade and retaining exposed concrete slabs to avoid demolition. Ecological features include a hydro-botanical system with water circulation and vegetation for passive cooling, a timber-framed glass facade with terraces, and a rooftop garden with water reservoirs. The design incorporates a new CLT timber floor, ground-level coworking spaces and a restaurant, and aligns with ESG standards to attract international tenants. It serves as a prototype for sustainable urban redevelopment by transforming existing structures into climate-conscious workplaces.
