Miryam Haddad's Palmyra-Inspired Paintings at Paris Gallery Art Concept

Syrian-born artist Miryam Haddad presents vibrant paintings at Galerie Art Concept in Paris's Marais district through April 18, 2026. Her work draws inspiration from the ancient doors of Palmyra, blending earth, water, and sky into swirling compositions that reveal geometric patterns and faces. Haddad, who now lives in France, created the exhibition's namesake piece "Le sel d'un songe." Her paintings are held in collections including the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris. Previously, she designed the poster for the prestigious Avignon Theatre Festival. The exhibition showcases intense, colorful panels that reflect the complex history of the Middle East.
