Mirae kh Rhee's 'Weiterreichen / Hand-Me-Down' Opens at Humboldt Forum

The Museum of Asian Art at the Humboldt Forum in Berlin has opened 'Mirae kh Rhee: Weiterreichen / Hand-Me-Down', a special exhibition featuring new and recent works by the interdisciplinary artist. On view until February 16, 2027, the show examines histories of collecting, representation, and the transmission of objects and knowledge across generations. Rhee, who works between Germany, California, and South Korea, treats museum collections as sites where power, memory, exclusion, and identity are continuously negotiated. Her work poses questions about who collected, what was preserved, and whose stories were told.
