Mimi Kakushi Opens Second Outpost at Delano Miami Beach

Dubai's acclaimed Japanese restaurant Mimi Kakushi has opened a second location atop the Delano Miami Beach, designed by British firm Pirajean Lees. The rooftop outpost, exclusive to hotel guests and private club members, evokes the coastal ease of Miami Beach while preserving the Japanese references of the original. The design draws on the life of silent film star Sessue Hayakawa, blending Japanese colonial furniture, Art Deco flourishes, and hand-painted walls. The menu features small plates like tiger prawn gyoza and wagyu strip loin, while cocktails are inspired by Hayakawa's film career, including the Nara Nara martini frozen in ice. Pirajean Lees reunited with hospitality group Paris Society for the project.
