Milestone Auctions to Host WWII Firearms Sale Featuring Unfired Lahti L-39 Anti-Tank Rifle

Milestone Auctions, based near Cleveland, is gearing up for a firearms auction on October 24-25. Attendees can expect a diverse collection of military weapons from the Revolutionary War to the Vietnam War, along with antique and vintage sporting guns and handguns. The auction will be streamed live from the gallery, offering options for online bidding too. One standout piece is an unfired 1944 Lahti (Finland) L-39 20mm anti-tank rifle, complete with its kit. Designed by Aimo Lahti, this rifle was developed to provide Finland with a mobile anti-armor capability against Soviet troops in the late 1930s, and its impressive size earned it the nickname "elephant gun."
