Milena Mannucci Launches 'Caieta Program – Sussidiario gaetano', First Textbook Dedicated to a Single City
The 'Caieta Program – Sussidiario gaetano' project, spearheaded by Milena Mannucci (AliRibelli, 2026), is an educational textbook centered on Gaeta (Lt). It fills a significant editorial void by captivating young readers through various subjects, with the goal of turning Gaeta into a hub for learning. Tailored for students in the first and second cycles of secondary education, it includes self-sufficient texts suitable for diverse classes, including those with Italian L2 learners at A2/B1 levels and those with special educational needs. An accompanying workbook provides grammar, vocabulary, and creative exercises. Contributions from various experts, along with illustrations by Greta Salipante and Gianluca Tolfa, enhance the project. Profits will fund initiatives aimed at reducing school dropout rates. This article is authored by Antonia De Francesco for MIfacciodiCultura and was published on Artspecialday.
