Meta's AI Agent Muse Hits 83,000 iOS Downloads, Claims No. 2 Spot on US App Store

On Tuesday, Meta introduced its AI agent application, Muse, which has garnered more than 83,000 downloads on iOS in the U.S., as reported by Sensor Tower. The app climbed from fourth to second place on the U.S. App Store. Nevertheless, its initial performance is relatively modest compared to earlier releases: Threads achieved over 4.3 million downloads on its first day, while Meta AI had 108,000. Muse is outpaced by ChatGPT, which reached over half a million installs within a week. On Android, Muse holds the 338th position in Productivity. Additionally, the app can be accessed through the web and WhatsApp. This launch follows Meta's $18 billion multistate settlement and occurs amid increasing competition from Google's Gemini Spark, Anthropic's Claude Cowork, and Instinct, valued at $2.5 billion.
