Mercedes-Benz Opens First U.S. Studio in Beverly Hills with Manufaktur Atelier

Mercedes-Benz has launched its inaugural U.S. Studio in Beverly Hills, located at 242 North Beverly Drive, as part of a worldwide network of 13 customer centers. This two-story venue opened its doors this week, featuring a performance by Suki Waterhouse and partnerships with Dolby Laboratories. The ground level is accessible to the public for events and exhibitions, while the upper level contains the exclusive Manufaktur Made to Measure atelier for clients customizing their vehicles. At the opening, Markus Bauer, head of the Maybach division, unveiled the global debut of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 680. Mathias Geisen, a board member of Mercedes-Benz Group, highlighted that high-end sales increased from 11% in 2019 to 15% globally, with the U.S. representing 30% of that market. Demand for Maybach has doubled over the past five years, and a Maybach Icons of Luxury boutique is set to open nearby. The studio joins existing locations in cities including Toronto, Stockholm, and Tokyo, with seven additional studios planned for this year.
