Memphis Art Museum Moves to Mississippi Riverfront with Herzog & de Meuron Design

The Memphis Art Museum, Tennessee's principal art museum and an institution more than a century old, is relocating to a new site on the banks of the Mississippi River. The new building was designed by the Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron. The move places the museum directly on the riverfront, a significant shift for the long-established institution.
