Meganom's Manhattan Skyscraper Nears Completion with Rooftop Infinity Pool
Meganom, a Russian architecture firm, has revealed impressive designs for a 52-story residential tower at 262 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan's NoMad area, which is close to being finished. This project was first introduced in 2017 and initially planned to reach 1,001 feet, but has been scaled back to just under 985 feet to avoid the supertall classification. Developed by Five Points Development Group and with interiors by Denmark's Norm Architects, it will offer 26 duplex and full-floor residences with open layouts. Sales began in early April, and the building's exterior is currently being worked on. Some critics feel its narrow glass-and-aluminum design blocks views along Fifth Avenue. This is Meganom's first U.S. project, and co-founder Yury Grigoryan talked about modern Russian architecture during its launch. The tower will join other slender skyscrapers like SHoP Architects' 111 West 57th. The renderings were created by Hayes Davidson.
