Media Student Lucy Sharpe Creates Museum Video During Pandemic Placement

Lucy Sharpe, a Broadcast and Creative Media student at Coleg Llandrillo, completed a volunteer placement at Llandudno Museum & Gallery from September 2020. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she produced a promotional video showcasing the museum's renovations, overcoming logistical challenges like lockdowns and schedule changes. Her work led to a position on the UK television show 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' after she applied when filming moved to nearby Gwrych Castle. The experience enhanced her skills in communication, teamwork, and research, while exploring new career paths in video editing and freelance photography.
