MCH Group Acquires Stake in Jupiter Festival; Sotheby's $60M 'Magnum Opus' Sale Announced

MCH Group, the owner of Art Basel, has purchased a 20% interest in Jupiter Festival, which will debut in Miami this October with notable speakers such as Rebecca Glashow and Bill Owens. Tokyo Gendai is set to take place from September 11–13 at Pacifico Yokohama, featuring 63 exhibitors. The Untitled Art Fair Houston will occur from October 2–4 at the George R. Brown Convention Center, showcasing 95 galleries. The first Lumo Art & Tech Festival is scheduled for November 13–22 in Oulu, Finland. Sotheby's 'Magnum Opus' auction will present over 900 artworks from October 21–23 in New York. London's summer auctions amassed approximately $560 million.
