The Museo de Arquitectura Maya, Baluarte de la Soledad, presents 'The Eternal Game', an exhibition exploring the Maya ballgame as a practice intertwined with religion, political authority, community life, and cosmology. Opening on September 4, 2026, in San Francisco de Campeche, the show features archaeological objects, explanatory materials, contemporary reproductions, and tactile resources. The ballgame tradition spans over 3,500 years, with evidence in the Maya region dating to the Middle Preclassic period (c. 1200–400 BC).
