Matthieu Blazy’s First Chanel Métiers d’Art Show on Abandoned NYC Subway Platform

Matthieu Blazy staged his first Métiers d’art show for Chanel on an abandoned subway platform in New York City, closed since 2004. The collection debuted last December, featuring looks that riff on New York archetypes—socialite, power broker, grande dame—while blending house codes from the 1920s flapper silhouettes to 2020s slouchy silk sets. The show was photographed by Anaïck Lejart, with creative direction and styling by Studio&, hair by Jacob Kajrup, makeup by Tiziana Raimondo, nails by Magda S, modeling by Lou Seriot, set design by Marine Armandin, production by Jules Crye at Lambert Lambert, project management by Chloe Kerins, casting by Sébastien Hernandez Bertrand, styling assistance by João Bengala, set design assistance by Caroline Garnier, production assistance by Balthazar Astier, lighting assistance by Lucas Matichard, and first assistance to Studio& by Cydney Moore.
