MassArt Opens Fall 2026 MFA Applications With Paid Graduate Assistantships
Hey! So, applications are now open for the Fall 2026 MFA programs at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, which is in Boston. They’re promoting their paid graduate assistantship program, where students can work in different areas like teaching, research, galleries, and administration. You can do up to two assistantships each semester, either in teaching or technical roles. The technical jobs could help you build skills in things like ceramics or digital fabrication, and you might also work with the Justice Equity & Transformation office or help with social media for marketing. Lucy Bennett, an MFA Studio Arts student from the class of 2027, is currently a teaching assistant and also works at MassArt x SoWa, participating in events like First Fridays. The college really emphasizes that these roles offer more than just a paycheck; they’re about mentorship and building important connections.
