Marvento Variable Typeface Specimen in Risograph Print

Gréti Horváth, a designer from Hungary, has developed a risograph print design booklet showcasing the Marvento font family, which includes seven unique weights ranging from thin to heavy. This initiative transforms the anatomy of digital type into tangible weight through practical print experiments using overlay spot colors on textured paper. The combination of inks, such as fluorescent pink and teal, creates secondary colors at their intersections, highlighting anatomical features. Each page merges editorial text grids with large glyph displays, treating letterforms as graphic elements with physical presence.
