He views it as a second home and a place for reflective, explorative work, even calling it "almost like a friend." Peckmezian, who has shot for fashion houses including Gucci, Balenciaga, Hermès, and Bottega Veneta, discusses the paradox of portraiture—the slippage between his subjectivity and the subject's.
