Marion Siéfert's "Bunker" Premieres at T2G Gennevilliers, Then Festival ACTORAL Marseille

The theatrical work "Bunker," co-created by Marion Siéfert and Matthieu Bareyre, is scheduled to be performed from September 17 to 28, 2026, at T2G – Théâtre de Gennevilliers, and on October 3 and 4, 2026, during the Festival ACTORAL in Marseille. Set in a near-future scenario where global temperatures exceed +5°C, the narrative centers around an oil tycoon residing in an opulent bunker alongside a dysfunctional family. The 2h30 performance grapples with sluggish pacing and abstract staging, which fails to convey a sense of entrapment. The cast features Charles-Henri Wolff, Janice Bieleu, Lorenzo Lefebvre, and Monica Budde. Pierre Salles reviewed the piece at the 80th Festival d'Avignon in July 2026, highlighting its ambition but noting that it favors concept over emotional depth, leaving viewers feeling detached.
