Marinella Senatore Launches Social Art Initiative for Families in Venice During Biennale

Artist Marinella Senatore is leading a participatory art project for The Human Safety Net foundation, focusing on families and children aged 0-6 at risk of social exclusion. The initiative involves workshops across Europe from May 2026 to March 2027, with locations including Warsaw, Mestre, and Palermo. A culminating exhibition will open at The Human Safety Net's Venice headquarters in the historic Procuratie at Piazza San Marco, coinciding with the 61st Venice Art Biennale. The exhibition will be presented in the Art Studio space and will incorporate material gathered during the workshops. Senatore's practice emphasizes collaborative creation, having engaged approximately eight million participants in her community-focused work.
