Marina Abramović's Inflatable Debut Opens NYC Balloon Museum

This summer, Marina Abramović will unveil her inaugural inflatable piece, SNOWY/WINDY/SPRING ON THE PLANET Z, at the flagship Balloon Museum in New York City. The artwork incorporates inflatable grass blades, drawing inspiration from her childhood in Belgrade, along with balloons that mimic falling snow. In Miami Beach, Philippe Vergne has been named the artistic director at The Bass, which is set to grow by 2,500 square feet of exhibition space, thanks to a $20.1 million public bond. From June 4-8, the Floating Art Hotel will dock in Monaco Bay during the Monaco Grand Prix, presenting the exhibition 'States of Motion.' A Gianni Versace retrospective will open on June 5 at the Maillol Museum in Paris, featuring nearly 450 works. Additionally, Pace Gallery is reducing its workforce by approximately 50 staff and artists.
