Mari Katayama's 'tree of life' Exhibition at Yutaka Kikutake Gallery in Tokyo

From March 19 to May 16, 2026, Mari Katayama will showcase her solo exhibition titled 'tree of life' at the Yutaka Kikutake Gallery Roppongi in Tokyo. This exhibition includes a variety of her works from the series, specifically those numbered #001 to #018, all produced in 2025. Notably, six pieces—#004, #011, #012, #013, #017, and #018—were commissioned by the V&A Parasol Foundation Women in Photography project, with backing from the Parasol Foundation Trust. Installation views illustrate the arrangement of these works in the gallery, featuring combinations like #012, #011, and #013 together, as well as #003, #006, and #005 in another grouping.
