Marco Pardo's Ceramic Dreamscapes at Galería de Arte A Ciegas

Marco Pardo's exhibition 'SUEÑOS DE UNA ISLA IMAGINARIA' opens at Galería de Arte A Ciegas in Madrid from April 10 to May 21, 2026. The artist's hybrid practice merges advertising, illustration, and design backgrounds with urban art, comics, and tattoo influences. Ceramic works become living entities with organic presence, characterized by gestural textures and precise line drawings created through sgraffito techniques. These pieces function simultaneously as islands and islanders, creating tension between micro and macro scales. Small drawings interweave to form broader scenes within a dreamlike landscape. Travel serves as a fundamental axis in Pardo's work, understood as both physical displacement and mental experience. Dreaming becomes a form of interior movement that creates refuge spaces.
