Marco Mazzucconi and Stefano Arienti at Primo Marella Gallery in Lugano

Italian artist Marco Mazzucconi, a key figure of the 1990s, presents his work in a duo exhibition with Stefano Arienti at Primo Marella Gallery in Lugano, running from May 23 to September 5, 2026. Mazzucconi describes his relative silence in recent years not as a retreat but as a subterranean shift, comparing the structured freedom of his work to salsa dancing. The exhibition is not a nostalgic return but a re-emergence, testing whether certain questions remain active.
