Manlio Orlandi's Métropolitude Project Explores Urban Isolation Through Music

Manlio Orlandi has developed an experimental musical project called Métropolitude, which combines the concepts of metropolis and solitude. The work examines the darker aspects of urban life, including feelings of loneliness, diminished human connection, anxiety, and excess. Orlandi, originally from Naples but having lived in France, Milan, and Berlin, creates harmonious soundscapes by blending music with voices and other audio elements. He also serves as artistic director for the Milkshake format at TRIP and organizes events.
