Maja Malou Lyse to Present Video Work for Denmark at 2026 Venice Biennale

Maja Malou Lyse will represent Denmark at the 61st Venice Biennale, presenting her project 'Things To Come' in the Giardini pavilion. The video work, created in collaboration with DIS, features performers from the adult entertainment industry and explores themes of technology, power, and the circulation of erotic imagery. Lyse's inspiration stems from scientific studies on virtual stimuli, social media content, and commercial advertising. The Biennale runs from May 9 to November 22, 2026.
